Justin Whittle
The former soldier signed for the Tigers for £65,000 from Stoke City in November '98 and became an instant hit. He was the lynchpin in the Tiger's defence, marshalling his men to great effect. So good were his performances that he earned the clubs Player of the Year Award that season despite only playing for half the year. Last season he was made captain and continued to show excellent form in defence. However, he is another player who has been linked with a possible move.
