John Eyre
Signed on a Bosman to join his home town club during the summer of '99 from Scunthorpe United. He is quick and skillfull with an eye for goal and despite missing the last third of last season due to an elbow injury he still finished as City's top scorer. He scored some excellent goals, most notably against Macclesfield in the cup and against Carlisle in the league. The hope is for him to show the form he had with Scunthorpe as he will be a key player if City are to achieve promotion.
