Jason Harris
Another signing of the summer of '99, this time from Preston North End, where he had a reputation with the Preston fans as a super-sub. He has both pace and strength but only became a regular starter after John Eyre was injured. It was the chance he had been waiting and this showed in his genuine delight at scoring his first goals for the club against Brighton. However, he will have to work hard to knock either Eyre or Brown from the prime striker roles. He could, though, fill a wide midfield role.
