Mark Greaves
Voted Player of the Year last season he has come a long way since being signed back in the summer of 1996 by the infamous Terry Dolan. After a jittery start to his professional career he became something of a revelation during the second half of The Great Escape season putting in some excellent performances. Last season he continued his excellent form in defence, often the marshalling force alongside Whittle. Unfortunately for City fans he has been linked with higher divsion clubs (and Scarborough(?)) and it is feared he may be sold given the continuing financial plight of the club.
